St Swithun’s Choir
St Swithun’s has a strong tradition of choral music. Our choir of over 40 members is led by Phillip Linquist, formerly Head of Music at Barker College, and expertly accompanied by Peter Hamilton on our pipe organ.
The choir sings weekly at the 10.00am service and on the second and fourth Sundays at the 8am service. On request, it can also sing at weddings and funerals and at other churches around the greater Sydney region. They have also made several successful overseas trips to sing at services in well-known churches and cathedrals and are bound for Ireland in July 2017.
Choir practice is on Thursdays at 8.00pm in the church building. There is also some opportunity to take part in vocal workshops and lessons.
If you’d like to know more, please contact Phil Linquist via the church office.
