Graham
Growing up in a Christian home in Sydney, I knew the Bible stories well. In my later teens I understood their meaning and how they applied to my life. I met my wife Rosemary in my early twenties and we participated in the 1959 Billy Graham Crusade together. We have been blessed with 4 children and they all have children of their own.
Christian life has fluctuated somewhat, balancing career, family, faith. My career has been as a chartered accountant, the greater part of my working life being with one of the larger firms. A friend took me along to a Christian group in Eastern USA during my visits there in the 1950s and God touched my life in a fresh way. Jesus became the Lord of my life as well as my Saviour.
I have tried to use my gifts and experience to serve God through church administration. I served for many years on the board of WorldShare, one of the pioneer missions adopting and funding indigenous ministries in developing countries.
Rosemary and I feel very privileged to be part of the warm contingent of brothers and sisters at St Swithun’s.
